Meeting Your Council's Training Needs

In addition to the availability of the standard training programme for all Councils in Wales, One Voice Wales is able to offer tailored training programmes for Councils covering all of the published training modules.

Councils wishing to pursue this option have the opportunity for all their Councillors to be trained in one local venue. The charge for this form of training is £399 plus trainer's expenses (per module) with the training venue being provided by the Council. To reduce the financial outlay, some Councils have grouped together with neighbouring Councils to share the costs involved. Smaller Councils can reduce their costs by claiming the bursary reduction.
